Fredericksburg, VA – April 8, 2025 — A tragic and chaotic scene unfolded Tuesday afternoon in Fredericksburg as local authorities responded to reports of a mass shooting near Lafayette Boulevard. According to early, unconfirmed reports, a total of seven individuals were shot — five adults and two children — in what is being described as a devastating act of violence.
